We are currently seeking a full-time facility maintenance person at our Canton, OH. dealership location. 

Experience required for this position in HVAC, electrical and plumbing equipment is a MUST!

DUTIES:

• Conducting routine inspections of premises and HVAC, electrical and plumbing equipment. 
• Basic janitorial and shop cleanliness duties, including locker rooms and break rooms.
• Landscaping and facility upkeep of parking areas, trees and/or shrubs to keep dealership looking appealing and tidy.
• Performing preventative maintenance.
• Handling basic repairs and maintenance.
• Diagnosing mechanical issues and correcting them.
• Repairing machines, equipment, or structures as necessary. 

PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:

• Requires standing for long periods.
• Requires accurate, knowledgeable detailed work.
• Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, twisting
• Required frequent lifting of objects 5 to 80 pounds.
• Occasional lifting of objects over 80 pounds.
• Must be able to communicate and work well with others in a fast-paced environment.
• Requires some work outdoors, in all types of weather conditions.
• Occasionally exposure to exhaust fumes and loud noise from a repair shop environment.

HOURS:

• Schedule is M-F, 7am to 4pm. No weekends.

Requirements

• Proven maintenance experience, 2-5 years preferred. 
• Reliable transportation. 
• Punctual, reliable and excellent work ethic and service standards.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Related degree from a technical college preferred but not required.
• Experience with HVAC, electrical and plumbing equipment required.
• Skilled in the use of hand and power tools. 
• Ability to use mechanical tools such as crimpers, cutters, pliers, wrenches, and tape measures.
• Ability to take apart machines, equipment, or devices to remove and replace defective parts.
• Experience with precision measuring instruments or electronic testing devices.
• Basic janitorial and shop cleanliness duties.
• Strong organizational and follow up skills.
• Eye for detail.
• Professional presentation and attitude.
• Ability to maintain focus while working individually.
• Strong time management skills. 
• Must be detail-oriented and organized. 
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a background check and other pre-employment screenings.
