Computational Neuroscientist to strengthen the research programs within the department and the fMRI Laboratory, under the direction of Dr. nadia Biassou, PhD. This position will support the fMRI experiements including performing functional neuroimaging pre and post-processing, including the processing Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy (MRS), Diffusion tensor imaging (DTI) and tractography and functional connectivity of both rsfMRI and tbfMRI analyses, as well as eye tracking software and the aquisition of simultaneous EEG-fMRI in 3T enviornments.
Responsibilities
Image processing of fMRI data Familiarity with imaging signal processing and converting imaging data to numeric data for cluster analyses and statistical analyses
Performing functional neuroimaging pre and post-processing, including the processing Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy (MRS), Diffusion tensor imaging (DTI) and tractography and functional connectivity of both rsfMRI and tbfMRI analyses, as well eye tracking software and the acquisition of simultaneous EEG-fMRI in 3T environments.
Must be familiar with fMRI acquisition software such as FSL, fMRI Prep, AFNI, MATLab, Python, etc.
Must also have advanced computational skills and be familiar with several coding languages such C++, Python, Java, etc.
Must also be familiar performing computer simulations
Qualifications
Master's degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate field of specialization or equivalent qualifications based on professional experience and otherwise qualified to
perform assigned duties. Must meet university criteria for appointment to the rank of Instructor.
Must be familiar with fMRI acquisition software such as FSL, fMRI Prep, AFNI, MATLab, Python, etc.
Must also have advanced computational skills and be familiar with several coding languages such C++, Python, Java, etc.
Must also be familiar performing computer simulations
