Summary:
The Maintenance ll position will be responsible for minor maintenance and repair of facilities, equipment, and ensuring vehicles are being maintained properly, to include minor custodial functions. The position also provides transportation for goods between facilities and from suppliers to facilities. hapPosition also responsible for minor emergency situations and the repair or oversight of the repair.
Education Requirement:
High School Diploma or GED certificate.
Experience Requirement:
Minimum of 3 years' experience.
Licensure/Certification Requirement:
Valid Driver’s License
Key Job Responsibilities:
• Minor maintenance (i.e. light fixtures, clogged toilets, debris removal, etc.)
• Facilitate maintenance and repair of equipment and vehicles.
• Rough and finish carpentry.
• Painting.
• Delivery/pick up of other goods/supplies between agency’s facilities.
• Assist with Maintenance l and lll as requested in other repairs.
• Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
• Ability to organize tasks.
• Ability to learn operating equipment required to perform the duties assigned with a suffiecient degree of intelligence to operate effectively in the performance of such duties.
• Must wear safety shoes (non-slip sole and protective toe caps) and company uniform.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Supervision Provided by this Job:
As assigned by administrator
Physical Demands/Conditions:
Prolonged standing and walking; lifting, turning patients and equipment; repeated bending, squatting and stooping; exposure to infectious agents. Visual acuity is needed to assess color changes, to verify accuracy of written materials, and to administer and accurately prepare medications. Heavy Work - Exerting up to 150 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 75 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 30 pounds of force constantly to move objects. (May be further defined as "with or without assistance.") Must be willing to travel occasionally to conduct classroom presentations, attend recruitment fairs, etc
