Job Description 

Holley, a leader in automotive aftermarket products, has an immediate opening for a Senior Distribution Manager at our Distribution location in Bowling Green, KY. The Senior Distribution Center Manager will lead all operations at the Bowling Green facility, a 400,000 sq. ft. center with over 125 employees, processing more than 80% of the company’s volume. This role combines strategic leadership with operational oversight to drive performance, continuous improvement, and a culture of safety, quality, and employee engagement.


Summary of Job Duties:

Strategic Leadership:

  • Define and execute facility objectives aligned with divisional strategic plans, ensuring operational excellence, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement, lean practices, and employee empowerment, fostering a flexible, high-performing workforce.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with sales, marketing, and product engineering to support new product introductions and optimize distribution processes.

Operational Oversight:

  • Manage all aspects of inbound and outbound distribution, including inventory management, order fulfillment, packing, and shipping.
  • Utilize SyteLine to monitor inventory, optimize workflows, and maintain operational visibility.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, and maintain high standards for safety, security, and facility operations.
  • Oversee staffing, scheduling, performance evaluations, and professional development programs to build a strong succession pipeline.

Performance & Metrics:

  • Establish, monitor, and report on critical KPIs, including safety, productivity, quality, on-time delivery, order accuracy, and cost per order.
  • Identify and implement cost-reduction initiatives, process improvements, and operational efficiencies that enhance customer value and profitability.
  • Communicate performance metrics, strategic initiatives, and risks to executive leadership on a regular basis.

Culture & Development:

  • Strengthen the facility’s culture of safety, continuous improvement, and employee engagement.
  • Mentor and develop team members to achieve personal growth and organizational goals.
  • Maintain a positive, non-union work environment emphasizing open communication, accountability, and collaboration.

Summary of Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Proven leadership (7+ years) experience managing large-scale distribution or warehouse operations.
  • Strong strategic planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with inventory and workflow management systems (SyteLine preferred).
  • Demonstrated ability to drive operational excellence, continuous improvement, and team development.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with experience reporting to executive leadership.

Day Shift; but must be flexible to work hours based on business needs.
