Primary Responsibilities:

As a Business Process Architect (BPA) at BKR H/LL, you’ll serve as a trusted advisor to our banking clients, guiding them through transformative software implementations that drive measurable business outcomes. This multifaceted role combines industry expertise, strategic consulting, and hands-on system knowledge to ensure client success, strengthen BKR H/LL's market leadership, and shape the future of our platform.

Essential Functions/Job Duties:

Client Success & Satisfaction

  • Partner with clients to define and document strategic goals, business processes, and desired outcomes, aligning them with the capabilities of BKR H/LL's solutions.
  • Provide actionable recommendations based on BKR H/LL best practices to optimize system usage, improve operational efficiency, and achieve business objectives.
  • Anticipate potential implementation challenges, proactively identifying solutions to minimize risk and ensure project readiness.

Client Configuration Reviews

  • Conduct virtual and on-site client reviews to assess current configurations, workflows, and lending strategies.
  • Analyze system usage against business goals, identify process gaps, and recommend enhancements or additional solutions that deliver measurable value.
  • Prepare clear documentation summarizing findings, opportunities, and next steps.
  • This role involves significant client-facing engagement and travel (50%+), often including multi-day on-site sessions with financial institutions across the U.S.

Thought Leadership

  • Act as an industry thought leader by sharing expertise through client workshops, internal training sessions, and conference presentations (e.g., BKR H/LL Rise).
  • Contribute to BKR H/LL's visibility through blogs, webinars, and other knowledge-sharing initiatives.
  • Become a functional expert and thought leader on BKR H/LL solutions and best practices.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, regulatory changes, and innovations that impact commercial, small business, and consumer lending.

Sales Enablement

  • Support the sales team with subject matter expertise during prospect engagements and solution demonstrations.
  • Assist with client current process reviews to understand business needs, identify inefficiencies, and align proposed solutions with desired outcomes.
  • Translate complex industry concepts into compelling value propositions that resonate with clients.
  • Help grow BKR H/LLs Business Process Architect team by identifying opportunities to deliver additional client value and expand engagement impact.

Software Implementation

  • Play a key role in client implementations, leveraging industry insights to guide solution design, configuration, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with implementation teams to ensure successful project delivery that meets both business and technical requirements.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and system expertise to internal team members throughout the implementation lifecycle.

System Knowledge

  • Confidently navigate loan origination systems to assist with configurations, test case creation, and client training.
  • Apply practical system knowledge to bridge business objectives and technical capabilities.
  • Demonstrate a strong aptitude for learning new software platforms and applying that knowledge to drive client success.

Product Management Collaboration

  • Provide structured feedback and insights to the Product Management team based on real-world client experiences.
  • Influence product enhancements that align with client needs and industry best practices.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • 3+ years banking experience in commercial lending - required
  • 3+ years experience utilizing Excel, Word, PPT on a daily basis
  • 3+ years experience with financial statement analysis
  • Proven experience in Commercial Lending 
  • Experience in Small Business Lending and/or Consumer Lending – preferred.
  • Experience working with loan origination systems – required.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and adapt to new software platforms
  • Strong understanding of credit risk management and banking operations.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and process improvement skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence, collaborate, and build trusted relationships across all organizational levels.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field required

Education:

  • BS/BA in Business, Finance or equivalent required
  • Masters in Business or equivalent preferred

Travel Requirements

This position requires extensive travel (50%+), primarily within the United States, to conduct on-site client engagements, workshops, and implementation activities. Occasional weekend or extended travel may be required based on client schedules and project needs.
