Pay: $2,055.60/week (plus $2,500 completion bonus per contract, up to $7,500 after three contracts)
Job Description:
The Orthopedic Surgery Registered Nurse (RN) provides high-quality, compassionate care to patients undergoing orthopedic and post-surgical procedures. The RN will work collaboratively with surgeons, physicians, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centered care in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver skilled nursing care to orthopedic and post-surgical patients
- Monitor, assess, and document patient progress and recovery
- Administer medications and manage pain control effectively
- Assist in pre- and post-operative care, including wound care and mobility support
- Collaborate with surgeons and physical therapy teams to promote optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and hospital policies
Requirements:
- License: Active North Carolina RN License (must be valid at submission)
- Certifications: BLS certification (AHA)
- Experience: Ortho or hospital experience preferred
- Personal Traits: Must be a team player who can thrive in a fast-paced environment
