Description

  1. JOB SUMMARY:
    Responsible for developing and delivering excellent training experiences for current and new employees, primarily in the Personal Bankers and Treasury areas. Assists in research and development of new technology and product roll outs.
     
  2. JOB DUTIES:
    1. Has thorough knowledge of Dart Bank products and services and helps lead the relationship building program.
    2. Selects or develops teaching aids such as training handbooks, demonstration models, multimedia visual aids, computer tutorials and reference materials. Looks for improvement in efficiencies within present processes and workflows, and discusses with Regional Community Bank Manager and Senior Treasury Management/Retail Officer.
    3. Assists in research and development of new technology and product roll outs and assists in training bank staff on new systems/products/services.
    4. Assists other areas of the bank with developing training programs and assists with training as requested.
    5. Trains new Personal Bankers and Contact Center Reps on the proper procedures for handling cash and checks, signature and customer verifications, opening new accounts, bank regulations, preventing fraud, handling robberies, etc.
    6. Trains Treasury team on Treasury Management Suite and business manuals.
    7. Assists Regional Retail Community Bank Manager with audit requests, both internally an externally.
    8. Trains Retail Teams in effective sales and cross-selling techniques. Thoroughly trains new and existing Personal Bankers and Contact Center Reps on the type of accounts and services that the bank provides, discussing features and benefits, and continues to monitor the testing for the Personal Banker Progression.
    9. Structures and creates valuable content for the monthly Personal Banker meetings.
    10. Responsible for keeping the Personal Banker manuals up-to-date, as well as ensuring annual retail compliance trainings are completed.
    11. Adheres to all Federal and State laws and regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act.
    12. Other assignments as directed by the Regional Retail Community Bank Manager.
       
  3. JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
    1. Education: High school diploma or equivalent, some additional education in banking and/or financial planning preferred.
    2. Skills: Exemplifies the desired culture and philosophies of Dart Bank. Excellent organizational, task management, communication (written & oral), interpersonal, and documentation skills. Must have an analytical and problem-solving mindset. Must be able to work independently and be a self-starter.
    3. Experience: Experience in training is preferred, 2-5 years banking experience required.

  5. ACCURACY AND ACCOUNTABILITY:
    Measured by ability to effectively work with peers on research and development of products; and train Bankers on products, procedures and policies, with high feedback remarks from trainees.
