JOB DESCRIPTION:
SAIC is seeking an ENGINEERING TECH III to support the US Navy on the MK 48 Heavyweight Torpedo Production Team in Bedford, IN.
KEY RESPONSIBITLITES:
- Works closely with engineers to assemble and test MK-48 AB/TC’s and Fuel Tank sections.
- Supporting engineers in design, development, and testing of new products and systems.
- Provides technical support across multiple disciplines.
- Identifying and resolving technical problems with equipment, components.
REQUIRED EDUCATION/SKILLS:
- HS/GED and four (4) years’ experience.
- Experience with relevant tools and equipment.
- Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
- Forklift operation experience.
- Good communication skills.
- Capable of building and maintaining good customer relationships.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Candidate must be a US Citizen.
- Must be able to obtain a Full DoD Secret Security Clearance.
