2nd Shift Hydroform Operator

Compensation: $19.00 - $32.00 + 2nd Shift Differential, depending on experience and qualifications.
Schedule: 2nd Shift – Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM
Overtime: May include Saturdays, as needed

Responsibilities & Expectations
- Align workpieces properly on the hydroform machine according to setup instructions
- Lubricate parts as specified in work instructions
- Operate the hydroform press to perform required forming operations
- Monitor pressure gauges and height settings to ensure correct parameters are maintained
- Perform dimensional and visual inspections of parts to confirm compliance with customer specifications
- Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance on assigned presses within required timeframes
- Ensure all preventive maintenance is completed according to the established PM schedule
- Use precision measuring tools such as:
- Micrometers
- Dial calipers
- Indicator gauges
- Radius gauges
- Perform other duties as assigned by leadership
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Must be at least 18 years old
- U.S. citizenship or valid Permanent Resident status is required due to the nature of work performed
- Minimum 4 years of hydroform press operation experience
- Experience in the aerospace industry is a strong plus
- Proficient in basic math: ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals
- Capable of setting up hydroform presses independently
- Able to run hydroform presses without limitations
- Understand and adjust forming pressures as required
- Able to change diaphragms in hydroform machines
- Proficient in reading and interpreting aerospace blueprints
- Experience operating circle and square shears
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, fluid environment
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy
- Strong team player with excellent collaboration skills
- Maintains a positive attitude and strong work ethics
Physical Requirements
The physical requirements of this position include but are not limited to those listed below.
- Frequent sitting, standing, walking, talking, hearing, seeing, writing and typing
- Occasional lifting of up to 15 pounds
- Occasional reaching, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, pushing, pulling, grasping, twisting, bending and repetitive motion
- The ability to wear proper personal protective equipment, including earplugs, safety glasses, safety shoes, etc.
