Chemical Mix Technician - Rotating 3rd Shift bei Rockline Industries

Title: Chemical Mix Technician 

Shift: Rotating 3rd Shift (D); 2-2-3 Schedule; 5:30PM – 5:30AM 

• Training Requirement: 4-6 months on Rotating Day Shift: 2-2-3 Schedule; 5:30AM-5:30PM
•  

  This position requires flexibility to support coverage for the opposite shift team during their scheduled time off, which may include weekends. At the discretion of the business, you may be scheduled to work up to three additional days per month. A minimum of three weeks’ advance notice will be provided for any additional scheduled days.

   

Compensation & Benefits: $24.00 - $28.50 per hour  (with shift premium)

Essential Accountabilities: 

Chemical Mix Technicians work in a fast-paced environment making priority-based manufacturing decisions in a leadership role. Individuals must possess a high attention to detail, superior time management skills, and the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization from floor personnel to upper management. 
 

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment 
• Ability to periodically stand for long periods, bend, reach, grab and twist 
• Making Automated and Manual batches using Rockwell 
• Special Projects (ex: Trials, Editing Work Instructions, FM-s, Kan Ban) 
• Cycle Counts/Inventory Tracking 
• Ability to accurately complete documentation 
• Forklift Driving 

Required Skills:  

• Basic computer skills are required.   
• Previous manufacturing experience preferred.  
• Must have the ability to read, write, and communicate in English.  
• Physical examination and pre-employment drug screen will be required upon conditional job offer.  
• Past cGMP experience and/or basic knowledge or cGMP protocols preferred. 
• Prioritize tasks and work on several formulations simultaneously.
