Summary
Assists Quality management in the operation of the Quality Control area by performing the duties listed. The Quality Team Lead ensures that the direction set forth by Quality management is followed through by the Quality Associates. Other duties may be assigned.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Performs and documents employee training.
• Performs inspection activities, filling in on demand to cover absences.
• Coordinates employee schedules to ensure coverage.
• Completes Device History Record reviews for completion and accuracy.
• Coordinates control of nonconforming product activities.
• Assists in complaint investigations, corrective action process, and regulatory process.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This role is responsible for assisting with the overall direction and coordination of the Quality Associates. Carries out responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies, regulations, and applicable laws. Delegates tasks to the team; assigning and directing work that needs completed. Resolving problems and coordination of department personnel schedules.

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) with 1-2 years related experience and or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to complete production forms. Ability to speak effectively before groups of employees of organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, commons fractions, and decimals.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Must have good communication skills. Must possess good hand-eye coordination. Must manage time well. Must be able to read and interpret inspection requirements from engineering drawings. Must be able to use required inspection equipment and record data.
