Job Summary

Position requires the ability to operate snow grooming equipment on mountainous terrain, pushing snow to create the best possible snow surfaces for our resort guests. Duties include dozing, sculpting and grading snow surfaces in variable conditions in a safe and efficient manner. Prior experience working outdoors is required and prior snow grooming and/or heavy equipment experience is strongly preferred. Position is primarily overnight and long hours are required during optimal snowmaking weather.

Required

Must be at least 18

Experience working outdoors

Able to work outdoors in cold environment, often overnight

Excellent communication skills

Preferred

Valid driver’s license and approved driving record

Prior snow grooming or heavy equipment experience

Core Responsibilities

•   Adhere to all guidelines and policies set forth by GERM and equipment manufactures recommendations
•   Responsible for maintaining cleanliness of interior and exterior on grooming vehicles
•   Assist in general maintenance and repair of grooming vehicles as needed
•   Report all incidents, mechanical or safety issues to supervisor without delay
•   Work in team environment to achieve our operational goals
•   Other duties as assigned by management
