Job Description
About the Role
The Merchandise Coordinator assures merchandise in the store and stockroom is maintained at appropriate levels. Organizes and maintains the stockroom of merchandise backstock. Assists the Retail Merchandisers with coordinating the movement of merchandise to support new or relocated displays. S/he/they will demonstrate a background of working directly with people from diverse racial, ethnic, geographic, and socioeconomic backgrounds, using a welcoming, inclusive, and accessible approach.
Essential Duties
Creates and reviews daily merchandise restock reports for replenishing and organizing stock in the store and stockroom.
Supports Retail Merchandisers with upcoming displays and merchandising themes as they arise.
Assists Retail Operations Manager with shrinkage control by identifying and reporting inventory discrepancies and damages.
Creates a weekly report to share important updates and information about merchandising miscellany with the sales floor managers and key holders.
Assists with organizing understock in cabinets and stockroom.
May perform other related duties as assigned.
Candidate Requirements and Experience
Knowledge, skills, and abilities:
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Visual merchandising and inventory management experience is helpful.
Self-motivated.
Scheduled hours are Sunday-Thursday, 8:00 AM-4:00 PM, with occasional holidays, late evenings, and early mornings.
Working Conditions
Physical labor such as repeated lifting, bending, stooping, and climbing a step ladder.
Must be able to lift 40 lbs. Including transporting and packing and unpacking large quantities of merchandise of varying sizes and weights, sometimes large and heavy.
Work without supervision.

Pay Rate: $20.00-$21.00/hr. Commensurate on experience.
