Early Learning Representative
The Ephrata Area School District, 803 Oak Boulevard, Ephrata, PA, is recruiting for the position of part-time Early Learning Representative. The Early Childhood Representative assists families residing in the Ephrata Area School District with the process of transitioning their children from Pre-Kindergarten to Kindergarten. The Representative will empower families by acquainting them with the educational and support services provided by the public school system thereby creating and strengthening bonds between school and the Ephrata Community. Relationships established by the Representative will increase the likelihood of positive outcomes for children entering Kindergarten by creating equity in the Pre-K population within the Ephrata Area School District.

Requirements and Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Applicants must be a parent residing in the Ephrata Area School District preferably with children of Pre-K age.
Applicants must also possess the following criminal clearances: Act 34 PA Criminal Clearance; Act 151 PA Child Abuse Clearance; Act 114 FBI Clearance. A pre-employment drug test, physical, and TB test are also required.

- Must demonstrate professionalism and appropriate judgment in behavior & speech and dress in a neat, clean, and professional manner.
- Must follow all District policies, work procedures and reasonable requests by proper authority.
- Must maintain the integrity of confidential information within the Business Office.
- Follow established protocols as outlined in Student/Faculty/Support Staff handbook
Other Requirements: Applicants must also possess the following criminal clearances obtained within the last 12 months: Act 34 - PA Criminal Record; Act 114 - FBI Background Check; Act 151 - PA Child Abuse Clearance. The Ephrata Area School District also requires a pre-employment drug test, physical, and TB test upon offer of employment as directed by PDE and the PA Department of Health.
Rate of Pay: Based on experience
