Job Description:

Trains other Gordon A. Cain Center Staff members on the LSU Pre-College Program - K-12 summer programs. This includes working with university departments, external stakeholders, and vendors to design, market/communicate, and advertise the programs. 

Trains other Gordon A. Cain Center Staff members on implementing the LSU State Rally. This includes, but is not limited to, reserving classrooms and meeting spaces, preparing bus routes for drop off and pick up, preparing test packets and supplies, organizing vendors for Rally Fest, and other duties as assigned by the LHSRA Executive Director.

Job Responsibilities

Train others on program development and implementation. Assist in developing and implementing a student registration system for programs. Assist in planning and designing Summer programs. Coordinate with faculty and staff across campus to establish new programs/courses for LSU Pre-College. Assist in implementing Summer programs (50%)

Train others on program. Assist in developing and implementing a common registration system for District and State Rallies. Prepare for and attend LHSRA Executive Committee meetings every two weeks Coordinate with vendors and university departments to successfully implement day of State Rally. Reserve classrooms and spaces for State Rally. Oversee the redesign of events at District and State Rally. (40%)

Other duties as assigned. (10%)

Minimum qualifications

Bachelor’s degree
