YOUR ROLE
Reporting to the Chief Compliance Officer and sitting on the Regional/Products Management Teams, the Regional Director of Ethics and Compliance acts as a strategic leader and catalyst of integrity, compliance culture, and ethical behavior in the region.
Beyond leading the implementation of the CEVA Ethics & Compliance (E&C) Program, you will also help embed ethical reasoning, behavioral awareness, and accountability into daily business conduct, ensuring that every management decision reflects CEVA’s values and commitment to integrity.
The role is central to building a culture where doing the right thing is instinctive, driving the company’s long-term success and growth through full compliance with the law and ethical business conduct.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
- Lead and supervise the regional compliance organization, including local Compliance Officers and the Regional Anti-Corruption Counsel, fostering collaboration, technical competence, and ethical discipline within the compliance community, and maintaining consistency of standards and judgment across the region.
- Lead and supervise the implementation of the CEVA E&C Program and other centrally driven initiatives across the region and its markets, driving coherence, speed, and effectiveness.
- Roll out Group policies, procedures, and control frameworks.
- Coordinate global risk assessments, surveys, and risk-mapping exercises.
- Execute the CEVA E&C Global Training and Global Communication Plans, by:
- Supporting deployment of global eLearning modules and tracking completion.
- Reinforcing the quality, documentation, and impact of live training delivery, including induction and leadership sessions.
- Partnering with regional management and Communications teams to amplify global communication initiatives and secure visible management endorsement.
- Align and coordinate with the Regional Anti-Corruption Counsel, connecting the dots between program direction and business execution, and facilitating timely, consistent application of anti-corruption requirements across regional operations — accelerating execution while maintaining integrity standards.
- Act as the regional arm of the 2nd line of defense, overseeing the operation and effectiveness of the compliance-control environment.
- Monitor key controls operated by Compliance, Legal, HR, and Trade functions.
- Conduct independent reviews or testing to assess control design and performance.
- Personally execute selected high-risk validations in line with the Anti-Corruption Chart of Controls (e.g., high-value gifts and entertainment, politically exposed engagements, or other sensitive approvals).
- Provide consolidated feedback and insights to Global Compliance on regional control performance, risk trends, and predictors of misconduct.
- Advise and support the Regional/Products Management Teams on business initiatives, investments, and partnerships, integrating integrity and compliance considerations into strategic decisions.
- Oversee, supervise, or conduct investigations into alleged misconduct in collaboration with the Speaking Up and Investigations Governance Team, maintaining consistency of approach, proper documentation, escalation, and remediation — including root-cause analysis and corrective or preventative actions — while promoting a strong Speak Up and non-retaliation culture.
- Perform pre- and post-acquisition due diligence in M&A, identifying compliance program and ethical-culture gaps and developing, in conjunction with the Director Regulatory Compliance, action plans and processes for timely and orderly integration of acquired entities into CEVA’s compliance structures and internal controls.
- Promote CEVA’s integrity culture as the visible face and voice of Compliance in the region, representing the function at town halls, management forums, and committee meetings; communicating CEVA’s values and compliance priorities; reinforcing tone from the top; and maintaining open dialogue with employees and leaders on ethical conduct.
- Report regularly to the Chief Compliance Officer, the Heads of Products, and the Regional Management Team on regional implementation, training and communication performance, risk trends, control results, and remediation progress.
- Regularly report to the CCO and the Heads of Products on Compliance Program implementation at regional level.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Education & Qualifications
- University degree in Law, Compliance (and/or related field) at least at Master Level
- Minimum 15 years of experience in compliance, legal, audit, or internal control, including regional or international exposure.
- Proven leadership of regional or multi-country teams and ability to coordinate complex program implementations.
