The Warmline Coordinator position will provide compassionate, peer-based emotional support to individuals seeking connection, understanding, and encouragement. In rural communities, this role requires a unique blend of empathy, discretion, and resourcefulness to address the challenges of geographic isolation, limited services, and close-knit social environments.
We are seeking a Warmline Coordinator that embodies the values of hope, respect, and empowerment while maintaining professionalism and ethical integrity in every interaction. The ideal Warmline Coordinator is both organized and empathetic, someone who can manage logistics while nurturing a team culture rooted in peer support values.
Job Type: F/T 40 hrs./wk.
Pay: $28/hr., DOE

Requirements
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITY
- Share information about community resources and services available in the area.
- Document calls accurately and participates in supervision, training, and team meetings.
- Provide nonjudgmental, peer-based emotional support to callers.
- Maintain confidentiality and appropriate professional boundaries at all times.
- Manage daily Warmline operations, scheduling, and coverage to ensure consistent service delivery.
- Coordinate onboarding, ongoing education, and skills development for peer staff.
- Maintain relationships with local agencies, crisis services, and referral partners.
- Promote the Warmline in the community and help raise awareness of peer support resources.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in peer support, mental health, or social services.
- Proficiency with documentation, scheduling, and data entry systems.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience in supervision, coordination, or leadership preferred.
- Familiarity with trauma-informed, recovery-oriented, and person-centered practices.
