Oklahoma City Indian Clinic (OKCIC) is a non profit corporation that provides culturally sensitive health care to the American Indian population. OKCIC services not only include basic medical care, but also dental, optometry, behavioral health services, fitness, nutrition and other family programs.

Oklahoma CIty Indian Clinic is hiring Integrated Pharmacists to our Pharmacy Team! This position integrates the pharmacist as a member of the provider care team. The Integrated Pharmacist is responsible for the safe and appropriate use of medications and is an advocate of rational drug therapy by managing patients’ drug therapy to ensure optimal, cost effective care delivery, and improve health outcomes.

Job duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Provides consultative services to patients and the medical staff
  • Provide immunizations 
  • Collaborate with Clinic providers to assist with pharmacist-managed clinics and educational initiatives
  • Provide reports
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications


  • Due to the safety-sensitive nature of this position, medical marijuana license holders who test positive for marijuana will not be qualified for this position
  • Must align with OKCIC vision, mission and core values
  • Graduate of accredited college or university with a Doctorate Degree in Pharmacy (Pharm.D) 
  • Current Oklahoma Pharmacist License, immunization license, and preceptor license
  • Minimum 3 years of pharmacy practice experience with at least 50% of time spent in focused pharmacotherapy activities or other equivalent experience or successful completion of an ASHP accredited pharmacy practice residency PGY-1 and/or PGY2
  • Experience with EHR/RPMS software, GSL, and Optifill; strong analytical and clinical skills; exceptional collaboration, communication, and organizational skills
  • Experience with pharmacy claims adjudication and rejections"Advanced knowledge of computer software including but not limited to spreadsheets, word processing, and database applications; understanding of Indian Health Service pharmacy practice
