Maintenance Electrician III bei JBSS, Inc.

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Electrician III to join our team! In this role, you’ll be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems and PLC equipment to ensure smooth and safe operations across our facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install power systems, lighting, motors, transformers, control panels, relays, and electronic equipment.
• Document repairs and installations using Express Maintenance (CMMS).
• Perform technical and electrical repairs across the facility.
• Assist with general building maintenance and repair activities.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics for high and low voltage systems and control circuits.
• Complete special projects as assigned.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards including GMPs, HACCP/FSMA, SQF, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain and document preventative controls for food safety and quality.
• Report any food safety or quality concerns immediately to management.
• Promote a culture of safety by practicing safe work behaviors and reporting potential hazards.

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years as a maintenance electrician.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of electric/control circuits, electrical components, wiring, drives, and PLC controls.
• Skills: Excellent mechanical aptitude and ability to work on elevated platforms.

• This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
• Must be able to work independently and collaboratively across teams.
