Responsibilities:

GENERAL PURPOSE:

Maintains 24 hour-a-day accountability for all patient care and nursing activities on assigned inpatient unit. Oversees and directs unit activities including standards development, human resource management, assessment of resource needs and utilization, staff development and communication within nursing practice as well as among other disciplines and departments. Oversees all performance improvement activities at the unit level and participates in committees at all levels within the institution.

This collaborative role focuses on strategic and financial planning, project and program development, delivering patient centered care and contributing to the professional growth and development of staff. The nurse manager position for this space will work collaboratively with departmental nurse managers and report up to the Assistant Director of Nursing for the Cardiac Catheterization and Electrophysiology Lab. We are looking for individuals who are engaged in growth and development personally and professionally, committed to achieving quality care and outcomes, and those who are excited to take on opportunities to strive for Meliora.  Recent clinical experience in Adult Cardiac Cath/ EP Lab required. BS degree required, MS degree is preferred, and prior management experience is required.
