About the Role:
As a Staffing Coordinator at Centre Ave. Health and Rehab, you will:
Accurately input CNA staff availability into the scheduling tool.
Address and process requests related to vacations, school schedules, and holidays.
Prepare nursing staff schedules up to 10 days in advance.
Compile and distribute daily census reports.
Update Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) reports at least weekly.
Maintain and update attendance logs to reflect staffing changes.
Conduct interviews for CNA candidates.
Complete all necessary new hire paperwork.
Schedule new hires for floor and mandatory skills training sessions.
Assist with employee orientation as required.
Analyze census data to determine appropriate staffing ratios.
Collaborate with charge nurses, nurse managers, and the admissions team to ensure staffing aligns with census acuity.
What We're Looking For:
Experience and Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
CMA or CNA certification is preferred.
Skills:
Ability to effectively able to read and interpret documents.
Ability to communicate effectively.
