Tradesmen International is immediately hiring skilled Journeyman Electricians for projects located in and around Ocean City, MD. This is a first shift opportunity with a pay rate of up to $35/hour based on experience & skill level.  If you are a Electrician and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career! 

 

Job Scope:

• • Perform electrical installation work on a water tower project, including conduit runs, wiring, and lighting systems in compliance with NEC and project specifications
• Install and bend galvanized rigid steel conduit (RGS) with appropriate fittings, supports, and weatherproofing for all penetrations and enclosures
• Route conduits for power, lighting, control, and grounding systems as shown on construction drawings
• Pull, terminate, and label conductors for all electrical systems; conduct insulation resistance (megger) and continuity testing prior to energizing circuits
• Install and secure tower-mounted and site lighting fixtures (obstruction, access, and platform lights), ensuring proper grounding, bonding, and weatherproof connections
• Verify lighting operation, alignment, and overall system performance upon completion
• Other tasks as assigned

 

Requirements:

• 3+ years of electrical installation experience, preferably with industrial or tower projects
• Proficient in rigid conduit installation, wire pulling, terminations, and testing
• Familiar with NEC standards and capable of reading and interpreting electrical drawings
• Must have reliable transportation, proper tools, and the ability to work safely at heights
• Ability to pass a drug test and background check
• OSHA 10 certification preferred
