We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Leader to drive our transformation leading to a more client-centric organization, with an integrated value proposition. This role requires a strategic thinker who can effectively communicate insights and foster collaboration across teams to enhance our service offerings and client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
1/ Generate differentiating insights and analysis
- Utilize data effectively to inform strategies and improve service delivery.
- Lead a team that provides risk insights and opinions for prospecting, RFPs, and dashboards.
- Produce insightful content for client stewardship meetings and respond to ad-hoc requests from Brokers and other stakeholders.
- Conduct research and provide expert opinions for bespoke publications related to various business sectors.
- Contribute to key industry conferences by providing input and support, and present on relevant topics.
- Utilize substantial risk expertise and in-depth knowledge of industry and insurance market place to review clients exposures and loss experience and develop solutions for complex clients needs, including recommending additional products and services as solutions.
- Serve as a thought leader within the Company and maintain an in depth knowledge of changing risk and insurance market conditions.
2/ Translate insights into client solutions
- Develop and communicate comprehensive Risk Insights that link macro risks with clients' Capital, Growth, and Volatility profiles.
- Empower sales and advisory teams to proactively identify opportunities and defend existing client relationships.
- Institutionalize advisory differentiation by delivering unique, rating-agency aligned intelligence that distinguishes us from competitors.
- Collaborate with brokers and clients to address challenges identified through risk insights, delivering tailored solutions that drive value.
- Craft compelling narratives with analyses that resonate with diverse audiences, ensuring clarity and engagement.
- Work to maintain a near complete understanding of the clients business strategic priorities, risk strategies and risk management needs and provide advice accordingly to successfully serve clients.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients to ensure that their complex risk management needs are appropriately met, support business development efforts and client retention strategies through innovative approaches
3/ Build a cohesive team, leading through innovation
- Lead the transformation initiative to align various product offerings with client needs.
- Leverage AI to generate actionable insights that enhance decision-making processes.
- Explore innovative solutions and the Art of the Possible to enhance productivity and usability across teams.
- Create standardized offerings that utilize technology to automate processes and improve efficiency.
- Set strategic direction and manage a high-performing team of analysts across Europe and India, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Train, mentor and oversee performance management for a department, coordinate and oversee workload of team members and ensure team is appropriately staffed to meet client needs.
Skillset and Profile:
Guy Carpenter is looking for a well-rounded executive, having an in-depth understanding of how capital and (re)insurance markets interact, and able to translate (financial, strategic and operational) insights into an accretive value proposition for Guy Carpenter. The role requires to be able to take macro as well as micro views, and how relevant they are locally, regionally or globally.
