HM Richards is a financially stable, 28-year-old upholstery and furniture manufacturing company focused on expansion. Our company mission is to make beautiful furniture while constantly reducing our environmental footprint by using planet friendly materials and processes.
We currently have an opening for a Panel Builder in our Guntown, MS location.
Summary:
Produce panels using cardboard, cover, and other materials which are then supplied to the appropriate upholstery line for the final stage of production.
What you will be doing:
- Locate buggy of cardboard, and then arrange and set up workstation begin to produce the panel
- Locate pieces of prepared cover and arrange by the appropriate upholstery line.
- Spread strip of cover on the table, and place cardboard on the cover, stapling cover to strip of cardboard.
- Recognizes which cover is needed for each piece of cardboard.
- Locate sewn parts needed from sewing department.
- Take leftover panels, cardboard to the cardboard area to be taken to trash compactor.
- Place finished panel on designated buggy, prepare for delivery to the appropriate upholstery line.
- Performs other duties as needed.
What we are looking for:
- At least 3 months of relevant experience preferred
- Knowledge about assembly line type environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Able to submit to a Drug test and background investigation

Pay range is $17.85 - 19.35 / hour.
