Role Overview
As an Assembler, you will play a crucial role in creating a safer world through the manufacturing of entrance control solutions.
Responsibilities
- Electromechanical assembly and pre-assembly of small and medium-sized components in compliance with safety regulations, assembly procedures and estimated timescales.
 - Wiring and connection of electrical and electronic components
 - Testing of the semi-finished and finished product, in compliance with the quality and packaging specifications.
 - Aesthetic control of the components before and after assembly
 - Minor soldering could be required
 - Maintenance of workstations and assembly stations
 - Building circuit boards
 - Installing software programs
 - Troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and software programs when failures occur
 - Building wooden crates (designing, cutting and assembling) to protect product during shipping
 
Requirements
- Previous experience with mechanical assembly is preferred
 - Ability to work independently and troubleshoot as required
 - Comfortable using power tools such as circular saws, mitre saws, drills, screwdrivers
 - Ability to effectively use metalworking tools such as taps and extraction tools..
 - Understand hardware sizing for both standard and metric items
 - Minimum High School Diploma or GED required
 - Proficiency and dexterity with manual and power tools
 - Attention to detail and quality
 - Demonstrated flexibility and capability to collaborate within multicultural teams
