Position: Quality Control Technician
Location: Sarasota, Florida
Sun State International Trucks, a proud leader in the heavy-duty truck industry, is looking for an experienced Quality Control Technician to join our Sarasota team. What We’re Looking For
Our ideal candidate is a skilled and seasoned technician with strong experience in major repairs, engine diagnostics, and electrical systems.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or Equivalent
ASE Certification
Valid Class A CDL
10+ Years of Mechanical Experience
Ability to Meet Physical Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Perform vehicle scans and preliminary diagnostics
Deliver accurate and thorough inspections and diagnostic reports
Provide written failure reports to technicians and service advisors
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Uphold and report on general shop and equipment safety
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, sit, and use hands/fingers regularly
Lift and/or move up to 100 lbs
Manual dexterity sufficient to perform hands-on repairs
Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
