About the Role:
The Manager of Licensing plays a critical role in ensuring that the organization complies with all regulatory requirements related to licensing. This position is responsible for overseeing the acquisition, renewal, and maintenance of all necessary licenses and permits to operate legally and efficiently across various jurisdictions. The role requires close collaboration with legal, compliance, and operational teams to monitor changes in regulatory environments and implement necessary adjustments proactively. Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end licensing process including applications, renewals, and amendments across multiple states and regulatory bodies.
- Monitor and interpret regulatory changes affecting licensing requirements and communicate impacts to relevant stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal departments such as Legal, Compliance, and Operations to ensure alignment and compliance with licensing standards.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive tracking system for all licenses and permits to ensure timely renewals and avoid lapses.
- Lead audits and prepare documentation for regulatory examinations related to licensing compliance.
- Provide training and guidance to internal teams on licensing policies and procedures.
- Identify opportunities to improve licensing processes and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and compliance.
