Description

Aerometals is looking to add the following position:

Master Scheduler

Pay range: $75,000 - $90,000 annually

Schedule: Monday - Thursday 7:00am - 4:30pm & Friday 7:00am - 12:00pm *onsite*

The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate the ability to:

• Maintain production schedules through the ERP system by managing inputs and outputs.
• Track progression of jobs, investigate issues affecting schedule, and act as necessary.
• Collaborate with production leads to understand department capacity / labor restraints and adjust schedule accordingly.
• Provide accurate production forecasts for Sales, Contract, and Planning departments.
• Manage and update promise dates for all jobs as job schedules are affected.
• Review job requirements (materials, run times, outside processing lead times, tooling, and resource requirements) to ensure jobs are prepositioned to run through work centers efficiently.
• Ensure that resource allocations for internal product lines and prototypes are balanced with contracted work.
• Track revenue projections to ensure financial goals are attained and adjust schedules as necessary.
• Generate and analyze production metrics.
• Perform other duties as required by the organization.

Qualification Requirements:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent

Skills:

• Familiarity with ERP system(s).
• General knowledge of manufacturing processes (milling, welding, composites, etc.)
• Knowledge of scheduling production work centers.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Exceptional time management, attention to detail, and organizational practices.
• Ability to understand inputs and generate functional outputs.
• Data analysis abilities is a plus.

Experience:  2 years of master scheduling in a manufacturing environment

Training: On the job training.
