SUMMARY
The Dishes Operator will be responsible to learn and perform all tasks related to the operation of the Inline Warewasher and ensure the cleanliness of all items washed. Will need to learn the chemicals and the right measurement etc.
ATTENDANCE REQUIREMENTS
9:00 PM start time with varying end time depending on production.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, other duties may be assigned.
- Know and follow HACCP & SQF programs.
- Know and follow all Food Safety procedures.
- Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Wear all required personal protective equipment. For more information see policy.
- Clean and sanitize items, which are brought to the dishwashing area.
- Put items back into the proper place and make sure all parts and pieces are accounted for.
- Must know proper mixture of chemicals used in cleaning and sanitizing items.
- Must know special-washing procedures for certain items.
- Handling various corrosive chemicals, extremely hot water, and some items that are extremely sharp and clumsy to handle.
- Will be responsible for the Inline Warewasher
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Must be able to properly use chemicals in cleaning and sanitizing items.
- Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs.
- Maintain and record Inline Warewasher temperatures.

The employee will have limited lifting, must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds for transport of training materials and setting up learning events. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Required to wear PPE when in production areas to ensure safe food and adhering to safety practices.

When providing learning or walking through the plant to perform the duties of this job, the employee will be exposed to wet or humid conditions (non-weather); work near moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) is required.
