Job Overview

Supervises the simulation engineering team, coordinating projects and ensuring accurate and effective simulation processes.

KEY RESPONSBLITIES:

Around 15 years of experience in the field of Simulation.

•    Formulate strategy / road map for Simulation team.
•    Manage a portfolio of new and on-going projects, using good project management skills. 
•    Evaluate mechanical, flow and thermal performance of product designs and processes
•    Develop new simulation methodologies as and when required to support product development
•    Drive innovation culture and ensure PID filings
•    Ensure capacity creation and continuous improvement in the team
•    Collaborate with local and global teams and achieve the goals of the Medical BU
•    Enhance participation of the team in TE conferences and represent Medical BU in various COIs

DESIRED SKILLS:

•    Sound knowledge on ANSYS workbench in Structural and Flow/Thermal simulations is a must.
•    Knowledge on LS-Dyna, SIMIO or Moldex3D will be an added advantage
•    Should be able to create hand calculation to verify the designs.
•    Achieve close correlation of Simulation & Experimental results
•    Highly motivated to be a good team player
•    Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
•    Culturally sensitive

What your background should look like

Generally requires Bachelors degree in appropriate field with a minimum of 8 years of experience; Masters degree or higher or local equivalent may be preferred at this level
