Approximately 27.5 hours per week
10:00 AM to 4:00 PM (with a 30 minute lunch)
Hours and schedule may vary based on school needs

Qualifications
- Prior experience in custodial or janitorial work
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment and use cleaning chemicals safely
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good physical stamina and ability to perform manual tasks
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Knowledge of safety procedures and proper handling of cleaning supplies

Requirements
- Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and safety of all school facilities, including classrooms, offices, restrooms, hallways, gymnasiums, and common areas.
- Perform daily, weekly, and seasonal cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, disinfecting, and trash removal.
- Monitor and restock cleaning supplies and report inventory needs or maintenance issues promptly.
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures, including handling and storage of cleaning chemicals according to district and OSHA guidelines.
- Support school safety by responding promptly to spills, hazards, or emergencies.
- Represent RMCA’s mission and core virtues through professionalism, dependability, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for students and staff.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, tools, and safe use of custodial equipment and chemicals.
- Understanding of basic building maintenance and repair methods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly environment.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and complete tasks independently.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Dependability and flexibility to adjust to changing priorities and school schedules.
- Ability to work cooperatively and professionally with students, staff, and visitors.
- Physical ability to lift, carry, bend, climb ladders, and perform manual tasks for extended periods.
