The Associate Technical Product Manager (ATPM) for Online Banking supports the development, delivery, and optimization of digital banking solutions. This role liaises between Desert Financial business strategy and SwitchThink technical execution, ensuring that online banking solutions are intuitive, secure, and scalable. The ATPM also serves as a key liaison with third-party vendors; managing integration, performance, and compliance across the online banking ecosystem.

What you will do here:

Product Roadmap & Lifecycle

Collaborate with Desert Financial product managers to define and refine product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for online banking features.

Assist in managing product roadmaps and release plans aligned with customer requirements and member experience goals.

Assist the Desert Financial go-to-market function prepare for product/feature rollouts.

Product Development

Partner with the SwitchThink SW development, QA, UX, and infrastructure teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of integrations, enhancements and fixes.

Create JIRA epics and stories to scope, story-point, and develop required features. Support sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release coordination.

Vendor Liaison & Integration

Facilitate communication between Desert Financial business stakeholders, SwitchThink technical teams, and vendors as the primary point of contact for online banking vendors such as Alkami.

Work with the Desert Financial Vendor Management team to support vendor contract reviews, onboarding, compliance and alignment with strategic goals.

Partner with the operations team to monitor vendor SLAs, performance metrics, and issue resolution processes.

Reporting

Track product KPIs, including member adoption, product usage, and satisfaction scores. Assist in preparing executive-level reports and presentations on product performance and vendor contributions.

Support internal audits and documentation for regulatory compliance.

Document member pain points and enhancement requests from support channels and analytics.

What you will need:

Bachelor's degree in business, IT, Computer Science, engineering or related field preferred.

Equivalent combination of education and experience required.

2+ years of experience in product management, technical project coordination, or business analysis required.

2+ years financial services experience preferred.

1+ years experience working with vendors or third-party service providers in a fintech or SaaS environment preferred.

Familiarity with online banking platforms and digital financial services required.

Strong project coordination skills with a focus on delivering results within established timelines. Ability to coordinate and direct development assignments of fellow teammates to complete deliverables required.

Demonstrated expertise gathering requirements and engaging with stakeholders required.

Experience working with vendors or third-party service providers in a fintech or SaaS environment required.

Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills appropriate to all levels of the organization as well as clients required.

Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Power Point, MS Project Visio, and MS Teams required.

Proficiency in tools like Jira, Confluence, and Tableau preferred.
