Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrates great teamwork, shares information with others, responsive with all communications/deliverables, collaborates with the team to resolve open issues, and anticipates the needs of colleagues in a consistent manner.                   

  • Takes personal ownership of issues, ensures a high degree of accuracy with all communications/deliverables, completes tasks according to committed timelines, demonstrates excellent service recovery, and communicates with customers in a consistent manner.           

  • Executes assignments related to portions of risk assessments.

  • Meets/Exceeds metrics; demonstrates solid grasp of application-specific security.

  • Completes assignments related to portions of incident investigations.

  • Completes user-related audits in a thorough and timely manner.

  • Demonstrates ability to manage multiple projects along with day-to-day work.

  • Demonstrates the ability to address all routine  issues and some complex issues.

  • Prepares and presents substantial portions at meetings.

  • Achieves and maintains up-to-date knowledge of Security topics in healthcare.

Qualifications:

  • Microsoft and or other Industry certifications            

  • College degree in Computer Science or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • EPIC Security certification or certified within the first 6 months of employment strongly preferred.               

  • Technical expertise including the ability to create simple scripts

  • Minimum of a year in Healthcare IT  implementing and directly working with EPIC security . Experience with one or more EPIC modules, EPIC role definition and go live support. 

  • One or more years in a workstation hands-on support role is desirable.

  • Previous experience in a security role is preferred;

  • Experience analyzing audit logs and implementing or recommending remedial action; Experience working with IP networks; Knowledge of security principles.
