The team
The Centre for Learning is a newly established service, evolved from the CYP and ASC Workforce Development teams. It brings together all aspects of training, learning, and professional development across Adult Social Care and Children and Young People’s Services.
Grounded in strong relational values, trust, respect, and empowerment, the Centre fosters a culture of continuous learning. It encourages professionals to build meaningful relationships and adopt a solution-focused mindset that highlights strengths and explores possibilities.
The Centre is structured around dedicated faculties for Children and Young People Services and Adult Social Care, supported by central hubs that facilitate cross-directorate learning and collaboration.
