Role Purpose
reach52 is seeking a Global Supply Chain Manager that will support reach52’s mission to build access to healthcare for 52% of the world, who currently cannot access it. You will be responsible for leading and scaling our end-to-end global supply chain — ensuring that essential medicines and health products move efficiently from our Indian manufacturing partners to markets across Africa and Southeast Asia.
You will be responsible for international sourcing, production coordination, logistics, warehousing, and ERP management, ensuring our supply network delivers high-quality, affordable healthcare products reliably and at scale.
This role requires both strategic oversight and operational precision — someone equally comfortable negotiating with suppliers, working through customs documentation, and optimising systems for transparency and control.
Core role scope and responsibilities of the role will be:
- Oversee the global supply chain from production to delivery, ensuring on-time, cost-effective, and compliant distribution.
- Manage supplier relationships, price and volume negotiations, and contract terms with manufacturers and logistics partners.
- Supervise international warehouse operations, including stock levels, audits, and performance metrics.
- Lead demand planning and forecasting, consolidating orders from regional teams and aligning with production schedules.
- Own and optimise the ERP system (Odoo or equivalent) for inventory, procurement, and reporting.
- Ensure regulatory coordination and documentation for multi-country shipments.
- Track key performance indicators (e.g. OTIF, inventory turnover) and report regularly to leadership.
Who you are (probably)
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Life Sciences, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years experience in pharmaceutical or health product supply chains, ideally across India and Africa/Southeast Asia.
- Strong experience with Indian contract manufacturing and cross-border logistics.
- Proven ERP management skills (Odoo preferred).
- Excellent negotiation, coordination, and communication abilities.
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to thrive in a dynamic, mission-driven setting.
