Job Description:
A vacancy for a Systems Engineer for Hydraulic System (d/f/m) has arisen within Airbus Operations in Bremen.
Within the domain of Aircraft Control we are developing, designing and supporting leading edge technology, complex and safety critical architectures and equipment for the Hydraulic System for the Airbus product line. We are an integrated, highly motivated and committed team, applying the latest development methods and tools.
Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:
Design, development and integration of the Hydraulic System and its sub-system control architecture
Definition of the resulting work package contents and activities
Application of the technology for automated controls in the context of aircraft control
Identification of life cycle activities to develop, maintain and support the design/product
Define and identify checks and balances along the development cycle in consideration of the project phases and milestone gates to ensure product maturity
Coordination with internal stakeholders (e.g. Safety, Maintenance, Electrical and Mechanical Installation, Interacting Aircraft Systems, Chief Engineering, Procurement)
We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:
Educated to a degree (M.Sc. or equivalent) in electrical engineering, systems engineering, or a related discipline
You should be a team player with good communication skills and personal engagement.
Broad knowledge in at least two of the following disciplines: communication or controls technology, sensing and data generation, software development, systems engineering
Demonstrated experience supporting system development tasks for aircraft hydraulic systems
Knowledge in aircraft electrical system or even electro-hydraulic eqipment and its integration would be a plus
Good understanding of tool application in Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and/or software development as well as MATLAB environment would be a plus
Ability to work in an international environment
You are able to work independently and self-organized within a master schedule
English knowledge at level C1
This role will involve frequent travel for business up to once a month worldwide and as such you must be willing and able to travel accordingly
