Application Engineer (m/f/d) for R&D in the field of Hygiene-Compounds (Petersaurach, DE) bei RKW Group

Your role and responsibilities

• Ensuring and continuously developing technical support as well as Research & Development (R&D) in the global hygiene business (BBS films)
• Managing the innovation pipeline for hygiene compounds and recycled materials
• Developing new formulations, implementing product modifications, and coordinating successful qualification at all relevant RKW sites
• Responsibility for output and quality of internally recycled hygiene regrind at the Petersaurach site
• Developing and defining technology platforms for the international rollout of hygiene products
• Analyzing and assessing raw material, machinery, and product developments with regard to sustainability, innovation, and cost efficiency
• Providing technical support to internal customers as well as supporting IP management and patent strategy development
• Planning and conducting training and coaching for production sites

Your profile and qualifications

• Completed degree in industrial or technical engineering or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in R&D or product management within the plastics industry
• In-depth knowledge of compounding processes and formulation development
• Experience with production processes and industrial manufacturing environments
• Strong project management skills and a structured working approach
• Business-fluent German and English, both written and spoken
• Willingness to travel up to approximately 20%
