Job summary 

The Sr. Manager, Executive Office has responsibility for the management and day-to-day administrative operations of the Executive Office. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Sr. Manager will be responsible for operations of both the CEO’s office and the Office of the Presidents, including providing line management for other staff in the Executive Office. 

How you will make a difference  

  • Managing the day-to-day operations of the Executive Office, including both the CEO’s office and the Office of the Presidents, and ensuring operational effectiveness of the Executive Office. Proactively identify opportunities to further improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the Executive Office team. 

  • With Executive Office, ensuring the successful onboarding, support and transition of the President Elect to President. 

  • Assisting in effectively managing issues with a cross-functional, member-focused approach, including quarterbacking with subject matter experts and others in the organization. 

  • Managing special projects with a focus on driving outcomes for members. 

  • Providing line supervision for the Executive Office team, including the Executive Assistant and Scheduler to provide responsive, seamless support to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and President. 

Requirements that are important to us 

  • University degree in Communications, political science, or other relevant field. 

  • 6-9 years of experience in the following: Executive support and administration, Executive communication, Issues management, Political acumen  and Knowledge of health care sector. 


The OMA has moved to a permanent hybrid work environment. As such, the individual in this position will be required to work a minimum number of days in our Toronto office.
