Position Summary: The Batching Manager is responsible for the leadership of CBG’s Batching and Pre-Weigh Batching Operations, which includes, but is not limited to; Kitting, Batching, Batch Monitoring, and Sanitizing. The Batching Manager ensures the accuracy, production pace, and quality of beverage production from the initial ingredients to the final liquid product.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Leads the Batching Department and ensures the accurate completion of the ingredient kit and final beverage product.
- Manages Batching Supervisors and conducts regular meetings with Supervisors to ensure all Batching Department requirements are being completed.
- Manages ingredient movements and ensures accurate ingredient inventory.
- Ensures the completion of required sanitation and product specifications for each product.
- Ensures the Batching Teams follows all product formulas and customer requirements.
- Works closely with customers and vendors to ensure the highest quality of beverage production.
- Is cognizant of Confidentiality Agreements while being as liaison between the company and customer.
- Assists in scheduling to ensure proper staffing to meet production requirements.
- Works with Batching Supervisors for monitoring and developing requirements to meet the Batching Department goals
- Trains and leads Batching Teams, as well as communicates effectively with all co-workers.
- Ensures all equipment is maintained, calibrated, and working properly at peak efficiency.
- Conducts management meetings with other department Supervisors to establish, delineate, and review program organizational policies, to coordinate functions and operations between departments, and to establish responsibilities in order to meet beverage production requirements
- Performs all other duties as assigned or required by the Company or Director of Quality.
- Adhere to and comply with Good Manufacturing Practices as outlined in Employee Handbook.
- Adhere to and comply with quality production and Food Safety.
Position Requirements:
- 1-3 years’ experience in a Supervisor/Manager role in food or beverage environment is preferred, but not required.
- Regular sitting, standing on hard surfaces, bending, stooping and lifting up to 60lbs.
- Regular typing/keyboarding, writing and filing
- This position may need to travel to other company or customer locations
- May be required to work and direct in confined spaces and work with high pressure steam
- Will work around noise, dust, variable temperatures and use of production chemicals
- Working with various batching/mixing equipment, forklifts and damp floors
- Position must be able to communicate with all levels of employees, vendors, customers and visitors.
