POSITION TITLE:           Crossing Guard

FLSA:                              Non-exempt

PRIMARY PURPOSE: 

Responsible for maintaining student, parent, and staff safety in traffic areas on and adjacent to the campus.

QUALIFICATIONS: Must be 18 years of age to apply

Education/Certification:  None

Special Knowledge/Skills:

Knowledge of state traffic regulations

Ability to interact with children and parents in a positive way

Ability to see unsafe practices in advance and take appropriate action

Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

Ability to work with police officers

Ability to clear fingerprinting background check
