Overview: The Elementary MTSS Coordinator will support implementation and refinement of the Vineland Public Schools’ Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) across academic, behavioral, and social-emotional domains. Building upon work completed during the Summer 2025 cycle, the 2025–2026 role ensures full operationalization of the MTSS framework across all elementary schools.
The Coordinator works in collaboration with district and building leaders to finalize, monitor, and optimize all components of the MTSS framework, from referral pathways to training materials, ensuring long-term consistency and clarity for school teams.
Key responsibilities include:
Update and maintain the 2025–26 MTSS manual to reflect clear, actionable steps and embedded tools for school teams.
Ensure that Tier (1–3) 1-pagers, flowcharts, intervention decision trees, and meeting templates are finalized, accessible, and consistent with district expectations.
Maintain and update the Tiered Cycles calendar and support documentation for I&RS coordinators and instructional coaches.
Offer scheduled virtual office hours (1 hour during work window, prep time added to before or after work hours) to provide direct support to elementary I&RS Coordinators, Instructional Coaches, and Administrators.
Serve as a point of contact for questions related to MTSS procedures, forms, trackers, data timelines, or intervention planning.
Provide coaching and clarification to school-based teams implementing the summer 2025 updates, including the use of the MTSS Cycle Calendar, Differentiation Trackers, Progress Monitoring Form, etc.
