Location: 3201 Burton St SE Grand Rapids, MI 49546
Schedule: Full time schedule; open availability required
Pay Range: $16 - $18

Job Summary 

The Utility team member plays a vital role in keeping our facility clean, sanitary, and safe for both food preparation and guest enjoyment. This position supports both front-of-house and back-of-house operations by maintaining cleanliness, organization, and proper sanitation standards throughout the day. 

Essential Functions/Responsibilities 

• Maintain cleanliness in all areas, including kitchen, dishroom, dining room, restrooms, storage, and loading dock.
• Empty and clean trash bins, sweep and mop floors, and organize work and storage spaces.
• Wash and sanitize equipment, smallwares, and serviceware as needed.
• Restock paper goods, soap, and cleaning supplies.
• Report maintenance or safety issues promptly to management.
• Follow safe chemical handling procedures and maintain cleaning logs.
• Support teammates and assist with other tasks as needed.

Physical Demands / Work Environment 

• Active role requiring bending, lifting (up to 25 lbs), and movement throughout all facility areas.
• Work may involve exposure to hot, cold, or humid conditions, wet floors, and noise.
• Must follow all safety and sanitation guidelines.

Education – Skills – Expectations 

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Positive, dependable, and detail-oriented with a team-focused attitude.
