Operations Manager

The Operations Manager (OM) is to provideoversight, leadership, and guidance on day-to-day operations providing feedbackon new business opportunities to sales, monitoring branch project progress,outcomes, and measures. This includes activities, such as leading anddeveloping the team and overseeing projects from estimation to completion,observing time budget, margins, and customer satisfaction. The OM in the Baltimorebranch leads a team of Assistant Project Managers (APMs), Project Managers(PMs), and Estimators and models our team selling approach. The OM will beresponsible to produce estimates and projects at a high level thru completion,supplementing the branch’s needs when capacity is strained.

Key Responsibilities:

• Observe what is happening in the industry toshare best practices and key learnings to guide team in habits and decisionmaking
• Facilitate regular 1-1s with team membersfocusing on goals, projects, development, performance, and office KPIs
• Manage the Operations budget, staying abovebreak even
• Model customer first experience and lead theteam to achieve an NPS of 90% or above
• Set and model behavior and performanceexpectations holding self and team accountable
• Develop professionalrelationships with industry partners to predict and keep a pulse on economic,service needs, and regulatory changes
• Develop annualbusiness plan to support construction services and project deliverables that alignwith company goals to achieve outlined results
• Produce estimates andprojects based on branch’s workload to ensure level and efficient workloads forall teammates

Education / Knowledge / Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or similar field
• Minimum 8 years painting or construction industry experience
• 3 – 5 years leading mid-sized operations or sales team
• Proficient in Microsoft suite, highly proficient in Excel
• Salesforce experience preferred
