Responds to a variety of calls; provides initial direction and support as needed in emergency and non-emergency situations. Investigates and documents safety hazards, incidents and criminal activities. Responsible for patrol of designated areas to ensure the protection of the public, patients, employees and property of AdventHealth. Is accountable and under the supervision of the Security Department%27s chain of command for initiative, judgment and general competence exhibited in the performance of assignments, calls for service, and day-to-day general duties. Supervises the day-to-day operations of assigned shifts and provides training and direction to subordinates. Supervises personnel scheduling and assignments of employees assigned. Inspects the team to ensure they are wearing their uniforms properly and have all assigned equipment ready for duty at the beginning of their shifts. Briefs the team at the beginning of their shift to update them on developments and security related concerns. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.
