Overview
Neya Systems, a leader in off-road robotics and autonomy, is seeking a Robotics Mechanic to support our growing fleet of autonomous vehicles and maintain our garage operations. This role combines hands-on vehicle work with facilities maintenance — ideal for someone who enjoys variety, problem-solving, and keeping things running smoothly.
Under general supervision, the Robotics Mechanic performs a wide range of mechanical, repair, and maintenance tasks on test vehicles and facility equipment. This position requires technical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to shop organization and upkeep.
What You’ll Do
- Perform vehicle repair and maintenance on off-road and test vehicles to company and factory standards.
- Diagnose mechanical issues and perform authorized repairs with efficiency and accuracy.
- Conduct multi-point inspections and recommend maintenance to ensure safety and reliability.
- Perform basic automotive services, including oil changes, brake work, tire rotations, and component replacements.
- Assist in installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of autonomy kits and supporting systems.
- Maintain and organize garage tools, parts inventory, and shop equipment.
- Support facilities maintenance tasks; changing light bulbs, fixing fences, taking out trash, coordinating minor repairs, etc.
- Communicate and collaborate with engineering, testing, and operations teams to ensure vehicle readiness for field testing.
- Document work performed, including repairs, parts used, and recommendations.
- Keep current on relevant technical bulletins and participate in training as appropriate.
- May assist and train less experienced personnel as needed.
- Comfortable working outdoors
- Physical ability to lift, transport, and recover vehicles and components as required
- Familiarity with electrical wiring, sensors and control systems
What You’ll Need
- High School diploma or equivalent; additional technical or vocational training preferred.
- 2–3 years of relevant hands-on experience in automotive, mechanical, or related repair work.
- Working knowledge of vehicle systems, mechanical diagnostics, and standard shop tools.
- Ability to read and follow repair manuals, safety procedures, and work orders.
- Basic electrical or fabrication experience a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and commitment to maintaining a safe, clean workspace.
- Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced R&D environment.

Hourly Rate: $20-$26
