Salary/Hourly Rate	BS 0 years experience=$51,000, MS 0 years experience=$52,000 with additional compensation for years of experience

JOB EXPECTATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

Position Purpose / Description

Seeking a high school music teacher with expertise in non-performance-based and instrumental music courses. The ideal candidate will assist in band/or and orchestra classes, be proficient in woodwind, brass, or string instruments, and have a background in piano. Additionally, the candidate will lead courses such as Piano Lab 1 & 2, AP Music Theatre, Social History of Rock and Roll, and potentially other non-performance-based music classes.

Additional Duties

Serve as lead teacher in non-performance-based music courses.
Assist in teaching band and/or orchestra classes.
Demonstrate proficiency in woodwind, brass, or string instruments.
Utilize piano skills to support instruction.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Profile (Licensure)

This position requires a valid and active license issued by the Indiana Department of Education

Education
