Raymore-Peculiar School District is seeking a passionate and dedicated High School Family and Consumer Science Teacher to join our dynamic team for the remainder of the 2025-2026 school year!  Our ideal candidate is passionate about equipping students with practical life skills, including nutrition, personal finance, child development, and career readiness. The qualified candidate should hold or be eligible for a valid Missouri Family and Consumer Science Certificate for Grades 9-12.

• Plan and deliver engaging, standards-based lessons in Family and Consumer Sciences
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student learning and growth
• Integrate technology and project-based learning strategies into instruction
• Assess student progress and provide timely feedback
• Collaborate with colleagues, counselors, and parents to support student success
• Participate in school events, staff meetings, and professional development activities

• Salary schedule placement acknowledging highest level of education and ALL years of previous teaching experience as allowed by the salary schedule
