Job Description:
The Pallet Coordinator is responsible for managing pallet operations within the Distribution Center, ensuring accurate tracking, movement, and record keeping. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with warehouse staff and external vendors to maintain efficient workflows. The coordinator also handles data entry, reporting, and process improvements to optimize pallet and waste stream operations. Safety compliance and adaptability in a fast-paced environment are essential to success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Pallet Tracking and Management:
- Monitor, record, and manage pallet quantities, movements, and conditions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of trailers.
- Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure timely and accurate pallet handling.
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to support pallet operations when necessary.
Data Entry and Reporting:
- Input pallet-related data into warehouse management systems (WMS) and databases.
- Generate, review, and analyze reports on trailers, discrepancies, and waste stream metrics.
- Support process improvements to optimize the efficiency of pallet and waste stream operations.
- Create accurate Bills of Lading for outbound trailers.
Communication and Coordination:
- Collaborate with leadership to align labor needs with business demands.
- Communicate load status and scheduling updates with external vendors to ensure timely trailer pickups.
- Implement and promote best practices for pallet management and warehouse efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems, excel, and google sheets.
- Basic understanding of logistics and warehouse operations.
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Additional Responsibilities:
- Perform other duties as assigned, including working in other departments as needed.
- Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of this job.

Physical and Environmental Conditions:
- Frequently required to lift objects up to 30 pounds; assistance may be needed for heavier or awkward items.
- Work in a fast-paced environment with varying temperatures (heat and cold), noise, and dust exposure.
- Perform repetitive tasks, including computer use and equipment use.
- Stand, walk, sit, and bend for extended periods.
