Licensed Clinical Social Worker bei MEDICAL ASSOCIATES PLUS

Description

MAP is seeking a self-motivated and organized LCSW to provide quality substance abuse treatment to our clients and assign clients to counselors. As a LCSW with MAP, you will work in an integrated primary care setting to provide behavioral health services and substance abuse treatment to adults and families as appropriate to the specific expectations of the position and accordingly to Medical Associates Plus standards.

Essential Responsibilities:
As a LCSW, you will review substance abuse documentation for accuracy and quality and conduct monthly performance improvement reviews. You will also provide clinical guidance on all substance abuse client issues.

Additional responsibilities of the LICSW include:
•    Maintaining service quality and continuity and managing staff operations
•    Completing holds and insuring the safety and security of clients and staff
•    Coordinating with outside agencies on client issues related to the promotion of treatment and recovery
•    Performing other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education:
•    Master's Degree in Behavioral related field plus 2 -3 years post grad experience
•    Clear and current State of Georgia License in Clinical Social Work (LCSW, LPC, LCPC)
•    Minimum 2 years of direct related experience which may include internship and /or practicum
•    Current certification in addictions (CAP) is a plus, but not required
•    Current CPR (from American Heart Association)
Preferred Requirements (not mandatory):
•    Bilingual (English/Spanish)
