I’m thrilled to share an exciting leadership opportunity — we’re hiring a Group Director, Experience Strategy & Innovation at our HQ, in beautiful Bentonville, to help shape the future of Online Experience, Membership Lifecycle, and Member Services.
At Sam’s Club, we’re redefining what membership means. Our Experience Strategy organization sits at the intersection of design, business, and technology, orchestrating how millions of members and associates experience value, trust, and delight every day — across clubs, digital channels, and beyond.
As our new Group Director, you’ll work closely with me to:
Lead multiple Experience Squads focused on transforming how members engage, shop, renew, and discover services.
Partner with incredible leaders across product, engineering, and business to bring end-to-end member journeys to life.
Shape the strategic frameworks, culture, and playbooks that define how experience strategy drives measurable business growth.

Minimum Qualifications...

Option 1: Bachelor's degree in UI/UX design, graphic design, visual communication, product design, computer science, information technology, or related area and 8 years’ experience in UI/UX, interactive and visual design, electronics art, multimedia design, or related area. Option 2: 10 years’ experience in UI/UX, interactive and visual design, electronics art, multimedia design, or related area.5 years’ supervisory experience.

Design certification (for example, IDEOU - Foundations in Design Thinking Certificate), Driving product development in a user experience area, Master's degree in UI/UX Design, Interactive and Visual Design, Product Design, or related area, Related industry experience (for example, retail, supply chain, eCommerce, healthcare), UI/UX, Interactive and Visual Design, Electronics Art, Multimedia Design, or related area, We value candidates with a background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly. The ideal candidate would have knowledge of accessibility best practices and join us as we continue to create accessible products and services following Walmart’s accessibility standards and guidelines for supporting an inclusive culture.
